It's FurFriend Friday! Meet Shadow!



Shadow is a 7 1/2 year old beagle. You can find him on Facebook under his nickname Cuddly Bear. Shadow is very sweet, loving and a very happy Beagle. He is always looking for new ways to hunt. He loves food the most and besides that he loves his family, friends and walks outside. Shadow has a Pmeranian brother and 2 cat sisters. No matter where he goes people always stop and smile at him. In pictures he's not so happy to look at the camera but he will always stay and let his mom snap and take pics.

It's FurFriend Friday! Meet Tiggy and Holly!



Fun Facts: Tiggy (on the right in the photo) is an 8 1/2yr old rescued Maltass Huskpomtzoodle Dascherrier. He lives the ultimate Vancouver lifestyle with his Humans and his newly adopted rescue dog sister Holly. This past winter Tiggy took Holly on a snowshoeing adventure and this summer he plans on taking her salmon fishing in Nootka Sound. Be sure to visit them on their website: www.westcoastdogs.com

Fun Facts: Angus is a 10 yr old Scottish Terrier. He is obsessed with playing ball. He has a Scottie sister, Ainsley who is obsessed with eating and getting into trouble. Fun Facts about our FurFriend: Sadie Pozzi is a 2 1/2 year old 13 inch beagle. She has a very sweet disposition, gentle with little children and with elderly people. She loves walks, having zoomies and her favorite game is 'chase me chase you'! She is an only doggie with an older kitty for a sister.

We are so happy to have such a sweet FurFriend! Lub ya Sadie!

Fun Facts: Mattie is a fun loving shihtzu who was rescued from a kill-shelter. Mattie may be a small dog but he's got a huge heart. He is the founder of The MattieDog Foundation that works to help advance social media and no-kill animal management. He was voted Best of Twitter April 2010, beating out celebs/sports figures and voted Coolest Dog on Twitter in July 2010. Mattie is also a founding member, lead guitarist and singer for the first Twitter-based band, Da Shibbering Cheetos (@ShibberingC).  You can follow Mattie @MattieDog and follow his blog here http://mattiedadog.blogspot.com/

Fun Facts about Toki: Toki is a one year old rescue, living in Venice Beach, California.  She's sweet and rascally, noble and silly, all at the same time.  Toki loves running in the Santa Monica mountains, chasing seagulls on the beach, and chewing on pinecones while her human buddies climb around on rocks.  At home her favorite game is tug of war, and her favorite pasttime is the the belly rub.

Fun Facts about Cokie: Cokie lives in Hollywood, California, a few blocks from the Chinese Theatre and the Walk of Fame.  Cokie is the Editor-in-Chief of www.TheAnipalTimes.com (where our comics are posted bi-weekly!) and has his own blog: http://www.cokiethecat.com. In addition, Cokie's mum draws and sells portraits of other people's pets. This all started when his Mum decided to try drawing Cokie herself (drawing below). Fun Facts about Shadow: At 12 years young, Shadow is her Momma's baby girl!  Shadow lives with her kittykat sisfur Mati, 2 turtles names Harry and Sally and a tank full of fishes. Shadow was also Starbuck and ZuZu's playmate when they were puppies and we all lub her very very much!

This week we have a special furfriend who is all ready for St. Patrick's Day! Meet Dutch!


Fun Facts about Dutch:
Dutch loves back rubs, marshmallows, and sharing a pizza with his mom (or anyone else who'll give him a slice). His legal name is LJ's Flying Dutchman. Dutch's mum Laur named him that because he used to jump (fly) from the couch to the ottoman to the chair and back to the couch when he was a baby. She speculates he did that because it was easier to get from one piece of furniture to the other by flying across the room instead of jumping up from the floor (beagles are so smart!).

We are thrilled to have Dutch as our furfriend this week! What a cutie! Thank you Laur for sharing this photo with us!

Our FurFriend this week is a very joyful springer spaniel, Ducky!



Fun Facts about Ducky:
Ducky is a year and half old, and she lives in Ocean Shores, Washington--right on the beach, where she gets to take daily beach and forest runs.  In the summer, she loves to swim in the nearby bay, and all year long, she's quite committed to her stick-carrying duties.  Ducky is crazy about (in no particular order): her momma, her daddy, her treats, her raw food, her toys (especially a knobby squeaky ball that makes a wonderful myriad of sounds), watching dogs on TV (she loved the Puppy Bowl), supervising meal preparation, helping her momma work, and cuddling.  Ducky is the star of The Joyful Springer, and she's a law of attraction life coach and has her own series, The Life is Jusducky Spot (her full name is Woodridge's Life Is Jusducky) on her momma's site, Up From Splat.  Ducky is also a dj on blip.fm/joyfulspringer, where she loves to play uplifting songs.  Ducky is happy about absolutely everything and finds a way to make pretty much anything fun.

We are very happy that Ducky is our furfriend this week! Another fun fact about Ducky is that she was practically Hampton and ZuZu's first twitter and facebook friend!

Fun Facts about Malibu:  Malibu lives in sunny Sydney Australia. She was rescue puppy from the pound and is now having the time of her life enjoying the simply things in life!  Malibu also has her very on Facebook Group, Malibu's Fan Club that strongly promotes adopting your next best friend vs. buying (click here to join!!!).

Our FurFriends this week are sweet sister beagles, Scooter and Bella!


Fun Facts about Scooter and Bella:  They are two fun loving beagle sisters from Texas. Bella celebrated her one year adopt-a-versary on Jan. 23 and was rescued from the local animal shelter by a horse and donkey rescue group. They both love camping, nature walks and of course reading PuppyJones.com.
